Current Projects
Julia’s Grace Foundation is a nonprofit organization built in memory of Julia who passed away of childhood cancer. Julia’s Grace is inspired by Julia’s list of things to do to encourage happiness. The organization offers hug boxes, family hugs, and financial graces based on Julia’s ideas. Their hug program seeks to create special moments out of ordinary things through Hug Boxes, which are gift boxes centered around themes such as watching movies or having a lunch date with a friend. The Hug Boxes are meant to create smiles and joy in times of uncertainty for both children and families alike. Additionally, Julia’s Grace offers a grace program, which is meant to aid children below the age of 18 and their families who are struggling under financial hardship as a result of cancer treatment.
Survival Boxes
These kits are essentially boxes that contain various foods, drinks, and goodies that will boost spirits in the midst of all the finals week stress. Enactus Boxes are a way that makes great care packages, reminders of encouragement, and stress relievers.
Business Incubator
The Business Incubator is a newly envisioned project meant to assist small businesses in the local area with social media and marketing efforts. Students will meet with business executives to gauge an understanding of the organization’s brand, business model, and goals. Top marketing students, as well as ENACTUS members, supervised by content faculty, will construct social media materials, marketing campaigns, and various audits to help achieve the organization’s objectives.
Discount Cards
In this project we seek to mutually benefit our local restaurants as well as Eastern's student body. To do so we made deals with local restaurants to support our discount cards. The local restaurants will receive more sales and foot traffic due to the cards, and students will get deals on their meals!
